And indeed, the winery is in Gaiole in Chianti, but right on top of a hill in a small hamlet called Castagnoli.

The vineyards in which we produce the grapes and the olives that produce these products extend between Gaiole in Chianti, Monti, Radda in Chianti, Castelnuovo Berardenga and Vagliagli: the names of these towns say so, but we are right in the heart of the wine region of Chianti Classico.
Cantalici wines are almost all 100% Sangiovese, a classic vine of this area.
The grapes are always harvested by hand, in small crates, so as not to crush the grapes and to start fermentation ahead of time.
When doing a wine tasting, we always go to the barrique winery with our guests, partly because there is a wonderful atmosphere and partly because here many of our wines rest (some more, some less) and take on scents, and change color and become the ones you can enjoy on your tables, perhaps thinking back to that time in Chianti, you stopped to get to know the Cantalici.
